I would like to commend the guys who worked on S1000RR Gulf Project bike. Ah Hor, Naufal, Eddie, Yati & Ah Hock were amazingly patient despite me "asking too many questions", "making too many changes to design", "hanging around their work area" & "Chasing every so often on the progress of the bike". What impressed me most, was on the day of the collection of the bike (8th Aug - Saturday), there was an issue discovered with the bike in the late afternoon. Ah Hock, Ah Hor & Eddie who were on-site, all jumped in to try to resolve the matter and Naufal, was wasn't even working that day, came from home to try their best to fix the issue. Till today I am not even sure how did Naufal know that the bike was having an issue. I was shocked beyond words when Naufal arrived and jump right into diagnosing the bike. Toward the end of the day at around 6pm, I accepted the fact that I will not be able to collect the bike that day and told the mechanics that they can carry on next week. At around 9 plus PM that night, i got a call from Ah Hor/Naufal that they have resolved the problem, which literally threw me off. Who would think that they stayed on to fix the issue till such a timing. Naufal later explained that it was because he knew that I wanted to ride the bike for a national ride and that was why he was compelled to resolve the issue. I am left speechless at the team's dedication and teamwork.
