Ban Hock Hin (“BHH”) staff are committed, competent and customer-oriented. All three qualities are essential to give the customer a quality service experience (you can imagine if one is missing, then the whole experience would be affected). My experience is that all three were present at all times, and I am a satisfied customer.
I sent my 18-year-old 900cc motorcycle to BHH for an insurance claim and associated repairs, and in the process also did some other maintenance due to regular wear and tear.
Mr Raymond Tan, my first contact, was very patient and prompt in dealing with my questions and concerns, very calmly giving explanations and the necessary details (lay up of the vehicle, storage due to parts taking some time to arrive, inspection of vehicle etc).
Ms Shi Wei who called me for some follow up was very polite and cheerful, ensuring that my concerns were understood by seeking clarification and double-checking the details (it was the same when I later met her in person).
Mr Jack Chin was very clear in communicating what other works which I might want to consider due to wear and tear (besides those due to the accident), providing pictures, details and explanations, giving a lot of space for me to decide on what to proceed with, giving prudent advice in helping to weigh the pros and cons, never once giving any pressure, always being very patient and going the extra mile in providing helpful information. Once the work commenced, he provided regular updates on the progress, and was always very reassuring.
Ms Fion very cheerfully greeted me at the reception when I first stepped into BHH to collect my motorcycle, very promptly and politely helping me out with all the admin matters. That’s when I also had the pleasure of meeting the above-mentioned staff who took time their busy schedule just to say “hallo” in person.
Mr Ah Hock, the mechanic supervisor (头手) took time to describe the repair process, and even personally made minor adjustments on the motorcycle for me, patiently waiting for me to do a short test ride, to ensure that I was comfortable with everything before riding home.
The work done on my motorcycle was fantastic, BHH not only repaired the damage due to the accident, but went the extra mile to work on other details to place the motorcycle in a better condition than before.
Then I returned to BHH for some follow up works, I casually mentioned that there was some some slight vibration in the cowling (which can reasonably be expected due to the age of the motorcycle and which I was prepared to accept), the mechanic took the trouble to check and troubleshoot to find the cause of the vibration (providing videos and updates), eventually coming up with a solution. I would have been ok if the slight vibration was still there, but the staff went the extra mile, just to solve the problem. This demonstrates that BHH is very serious about customer satisfaction.
I am sure there are lots of other staff besides those mentioned above who contributed to my very positive experience at BHH. I am very thankful to all at BHH for their excellent service.
